MCL Medics Expands Offshore Medic Supply with THREE60 Energy
MCL Medics is pleased to announce the expansion of its arrangement with THREE60 Energy, building on an established relationship to supply HSE-qualified offshore medics to a further group of North Sea assets.
Under the expanded arrangement, MCL Medics will supply dedicated HSE-qualified offshore medics to the assets. The medics work on each installation under the direction and control of THREE60 Energy and its Offshore Installation Managers, as part of the installation team, in line with the operator’s own procedures and emergency response arrangements.
THREE60 Energy also takes MCL Medics’ 24/7 topside medical support as a separate service. Topside gives the installation access to a UK-based doctor at any hour, as required for a manned installation, and is provided independently of the medic on board.
The expansion sees a number of experienced offshore medics join MCL Medics. We are delighted to welcome them and look forward to supporting their continued professional development. All MCL Medics offshore medics hold current HSE Offshore Medic certification and professional registration, and MCL Medics maintains the professional registration checks, clinical safety governance and Medical Director oversight that operators expect of a supplier of medical personnel.
Working offshore is demanding. A medic on an installation is often many miles from the nearest definitive care facility, and the role calls for competence, resilience and sound judgement. We are proud to supply people who meet that standard.
