How it works
- 24/7 access: Employees can self-refer at any time, without needing manager approval. Confidentiality is absolute.
- Clinical triage in 2 days: A qualified clinician assesses the level of care needed and matches the employee to the right therapist.
- Therapy within 7 days: Structured sessions begin quickly, helping people recover before their absence becomes entrenched.
- Flexible delivery: Secure video, telephone or face-to-face, whatever suits the individual and the clinical need.
Issues we support
Anxiety and depression. Workplace stress and burnout. Bereavement and loss. Relationship breakdown. Family conflict. Trauma following a workplace incident may require structured counselling alongside our critical incident support services. Substance misuse concerns. Any personal issue that’s affecting someone’s ability to function at work.
Our clinicians use evidence-based approaches including CBT and solution-focused brief therapy, delivered in line with recognised NICE mental health guidelines and where appropriate specialist trauma protocols such as EMDR. Every therapist is matched to the presenting issue, not allocated at random.
The clinical difference
Some EAP counselling services use telephone-only triage centres staffed by non-clinical advisors. Ours is different. Every initial contact is handled by a qualified clinician who can assess clinical severity and match the employee to the right level of support immediately. If someone needs more than short-term counselling, we have a clear escalation pathway into specialist trauma counselling therapy or an occupational health assessment, all within the same governance framework.
This integrated approach means fewer people fall through the gaps between services. It also means you’re not paying two providers to manage the same employee’s journey.
FAQs
The model is short-term, solution-focused therapy. Most employees receive up to 6 structured sessions, which is typically enough to resolve the presenting issue and build coping strategies.
