Clinical Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Clinical Administrator to join our team in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will be able to provide a full range of secretarial and administrative support. Maintaining records, databases and information systems and keeping up to date with software updates. Additionally, they will liaise with other departments, organisations and stakeholders in a professional manner, demonstrating the values of MCL Medics. They will be able to provide advice and guidance to service users and colleagues using excellent customer service skills. Having the ability to supervise members of staff as appropriate in accordance with the policies and procedures of MCL Medics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of secretarial and administrative support to a department or team or service.
  • Produce documents and letters using our IT systems and keep up to date with system changes.
  • Deal with face to face and telephone enquiries from clients, patients, colleagues and external organisations using excellent customer service skills and a friendly and flexible approach.
  • Use computerised systems to enter and retrieve information as required.
  • Maintain a confidential electronic filing system.
  • Plan, organise and prioritise own workload, in conjunction with colleagues as necessary.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year in the role of support secretary, or relevant demonstrable experience.
  • Secretarial qualification to RSA3 or equivalent, or experience gained through significant demonstrable experience.
  • English and Maths to GCSE or equivalent.
  • Experience in using MS Excel, databases, Word and Outlook, SharePoint and Skype.
  • Proven personal organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
